Warm
Rinse the vessel with hot water, then empty it. The clay wakes before the leaf arrives.

Steep
Measure by feel, not by rule. Let the leaf open at its own pace.

Pour
Pour low and slow, close to the cup, so the surface stays calm.

Share
Offer the first cup before your own. The table is the point.
